The Duo
Friends for over 30 years, Reed and Aprylle first combined talents during their early collegiate years. Life took them in very different directions until 1993, when chance really renewed their friendship, and they married. What began as evenings of musical relaxation has blossomed into the most sought-after flute/guitar duo in New England. They have performed extensively throughout New England in chamber music series, concerts and musical venues of all types, including numerous colleges/universities, corporate functions, fine hotels, country inns, country clubs, event centers and resorts.

The duo's versatility and excellence in performances is based upon superb musicianship and ensemble skills, a truly unique and extensive repertoire, and a combined experience of over 74 years of musical performances in many genres. From elegant ceremonial music to sophisticated background music, from formal and lecture concerts to solemn occasions or school workshops, the duo is equally comfortable and adept at providing a quality of performance for the most demanding of musical tastes.
